2022 Mil Vistas Pinot Noir

$50.00

The 2022 Mil Vistas Pinot Noir expresses bright earthy aromatics such as pomegranate, raspberry seed, rhubarb and dried lavender. Well balanced acidity carries the wine’s finish with flavors of strawberry, plum, and nectarine rounding out it’s structured palate.

Over the past years of working with the Mil Vistas Vineyard, Anie has developed a great appreciation and respect for the unique site and dedicated family who has farmed it for years. Located just outside Occidental, the vineyard sits upon world-renown classic Goldridge loam soil which has defined the Sonoma Coast AVA for decades. Mystic foggy mornings, lush rolling hills and proximity to the Pacific Ocean aide in a slow ripening season which is ideal for the French Pinot Noir clones of Dijon 115 and Pommard 5, and the Swiss clone 23. Planted in 1992, Mil Vistas Vineyard exemplifies year after year the consistency of quality through organic farming and shines through to the Kochana winemaking style.
